Calling all our fellow shopanistas! Whether you’re a Los Angeles local or traveling here to experience the city, it’s hard to know the best places to shop in Los Angeles. It seems as though LA has a store, boutique, or thrift shop on every single street you turn down. No matter what your style is or who you are shopping for – there is something out there for you! You know what they say, shopping is the best type of cardio! If you’re in the mood to get your shop on, here is The LA Girl Shopping Guide to help you find the best places to shop in Los Angeles. Price range ranked: 1-4 ($-$$$$.)

1. Saks Fifth Avenue, Beverly Hills

Price Range: $$$$

We doubt this is a shocker to anyone, but Saks Fifth Avenue located in Beverly Hills is one of our all-time favorites! No matter what you’re shopping for, whether it’s a seasonal, luxurious bag or a new date-night outfit, Saks is the place to go. They have the most elegant shoes, handbags, and women’s apparel… Shall we continue? The list goes on and on and this is why we have so much faith in what this store holds! Carrying brands like Saint Laurent, Gucci, Alice + Olivia, and so many more, you are sure to leave with bags full of new goodies!

2. The Grove

Price Range: $$$

Okay, everybody… Here it is! The Grove! If you asked any person from Los Angeles where they would recommend you to go shopping, they most likely would recommend you hit up this shopping spot. The Grove is a beautiful, outdoor shopping area that has an amazing variety of shops – from Alo Yoga, Aritzia, Coach, Madewell, Topshop, to Nike and Apple. The list is endless! In addition to shopping, it is also a great place to take a stroll or even catch the newest movie at the AMC Theatre. There are also a ton of events and pop-ups that are hosted at The Grove so you’re always bound to find something exciting there!

3. The Webster (on Beverly Blvd.)

Price Range: $$-$$$

LA fashion-lovers and photo-op finders have found their next stop. This Miami-born luxury boutique recently opened up their first Los Angeles location, and the best part? Its pink! Located on Beverly and San Vicente Boulevard, the pink building can’t be missed. Not only is the outside perfect for your IG post background, the shopping is like a curated closet made just for you. Exclusive collaborations with brands such as Balenciaga, Burberry, Bottega Venetta, and many more make for a unique blend of your favorite luxury retailers, all in one setting. This is where a cute aesthetic meets high-end fashion. What’s more LA than that?

4. Robertson Blvd.

Price Range: $$-$$$$

Another great location to explore is Robertson Boulevard, located in West Hollywood. Start by grabbing a coffee at Starbucks and make your way down the road to begin your shopping extravaganza. Get ready for the summer with bathing suits from Beach Bunny Swimwear or new designer shades from Sunglass Hut. For all of your fashion needs, check out Lululemon, Vince, Chanel, and Intermix. Stop at The Henry for breakfast, lunch or dinner while you’re out.

We have nothing, but amazing things to say about Revolve. Their chic clothes, trendy accessories, and overall vibe are something The LA Gir lives for! Revolve has go-to outfits for each and every event you are planning on attending, whether that is a music festival or a wedding, Revolve is the place to order from.

5. Melrose Avenue 

Price Range: $-$$$

Awww yes, Melrose Avenue! This street is one of the most famous in LA and is well-known for being a crowd favorite shopping spot! Every shopper has a great affection towards Melrose Avenue for all of its fabulous spots. There isn’t a time where you can walk into one of the shops on Melrose Avenue and not buy anything – it’s almost unheard of. A few of our favorite shopping spots on Melrose Avenue include Fred Segal for must-have tops, Marc Jacobs for the perfect bag, The RealReal, Ganni and so much more… For our thrift shoppers, Crossroads Trading Co. is a fun spot where you can buy and exchange clothing – a perfect place to find those vintage items you’ve been looking for forever. No matter where you end up, we are sure you will find something to add to your closet!

P.S. Don’t forget to snap some pictures at one of the colorful, artsy walls that are up and down Melrose Avenue!

6. Melrose Trading Post

Price Range: $-$$

Speaking of Melrose, every Sunday, the people of Los Angeles come out to the open-air market known as the Melrose Trading Post. If you’re looking for a great way to get together with family or friends on a Sunday, this is a hot spot for shopping for some vintage clothing items as well as antique goods! There is a wide variety of vendors that sell anything from crotchet bags and goods to delicious meals, and you can even hear some bands play live music. If you’re really lucky, you may spot a celebrity exploring the many goods that Melrose Trading Post has to offer!

7. Abbot Kinney

Price Range: $$-$$$$

Right by the famous Venice Beach is Abbot Kinney Boulevard, where many LA locals like to hang out, grab a bite to eat, and of course – shop! After all, that’s what we are all interested in! Abbot Kinney is filled with the cutest stores for your much-deserved shopping spree! Check our Gorjana for some dainty jewelry, Lululemon for sportswear, and Le Labo for the finest fragrances. After you’re done shopping, you will need a bite to eat! Try one of the many delicious eateries like Abbot’s Pizza Company, Greenleaf, or grab a coffee at Blue Bottle Coffee. Abbot Kinney is a must-see spot for your special LA Shopping day!

8. Rodeo Drive

Price Range: $$$-$$$$

Shopping is all about treating yourself for something special, right?! Retail therapy is the best! Rodeo Drive is known for not only being a great tourist area for people to see all of the high-end stores, but it’s also a fantastic place to shop at, too. From Bulgari, Burberry, Cartier, Celine, Chanel, Coach, Dior, and more – Rodeo Drive is every shopper’s heaven whether you’re shopping or window shopping.

9. Alice + Olivia

Price Range: $$$

Alice + Olivia is our new fav! It is a New York City-based company that has the most flattering and stylish women’s clothing. From bright-colored dresses to cozy sweaters and chic blazers, they have your back no matter what type of pieces you are looking for! With locations in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood on Melrose Ave, Alice + Olivia is a must-see spot when looking to rejuvenate your closet during your LA shopping day.

10. Fashion District in DTLA

Price Range: $$-$$$

One of the first things that come to mind when we think of Los Angeles is fashion. Since fashion has such an important role in the LA lifestyle, it’s only natural that Los Angeles has its very own fashion district in the Downtown area. The LA Fashion District offers a ton of shopping for wholesale businesses, but a lot of retail shoppers head over there too. Plus, it’s a great place for people to buy clothing at discounted prices! Who doesn’t love a discount?!
