A Holiday Shopping Recap in LA: Fashion & Beauty’s Best Trends

If you haven’t started your holiday shopping…girl, what are you waiting for? There is only 20 more days until Christmas so let’s get that list checked off twice.  According to Forbes, about 43.6% of our population is expected to spend $750 and more on gifts this year. The number is actually up from 2022. But one of the most exciting things about spending that cash on others is discovering new brands and new items that will help enhance aesthetics and elevate everyday ensembles. We love giving friends and family presents they have never heard about, especially in the fashion and beauty categories. It doubles down on the joy for sure…almost like a tiny little secret we can’t wait to spill. Plus, fashion & beauty gifts never go out of style. Ready to become your family’s Christmas influencer?  Keep scrolling to find 2023’s cool, hip, and trendy presents unveiled at CLD PR’s HOLIDAY HOUSE Gifting Experience at The Reserve in LA. We hope it gives you an extra dose of gifting inspiration.

It was a moody and magical wonderland filled with enchanting discoveries. We found some NYE dress inspo from Windsor, Christmas eve looks from  PACSUN, and festive footwear from JustFab. There’s also a brand (that quickly became a fav too) called That’s So Fetch that had some IG worthy casual everyday dresses and also some minimal basics that can easily be dressed up. The prices were pretty affordable too which is perfect to stay on budget. The swimwear by FAE had us immediately thinking about the pool parties at Coachella. If you have a friend who loves her festivals, getting her a new suit to rock wouldn’t be a bad idea. And if you want to surprise bae Christmas night, a red hot set from  Bluebella will do the trick. Special occasion dresses were also on display from Ladivine by Cinderella Divine. The LA based evening wear brand has gowns to embrace every woman’s sensuality with a dose of modernity. There red carpet gowns are meant to leave a lasting impression and we’re pretty sure we’ll see one of them on Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie who was shopping all of the fab items.

More celebs and our favorite influencers like Selling OC ‘s Polly Brindle and Lauren Shortt, Selling Sunset’s Nicole Young and Vanderpump Rules Ally Lewber also stopped by to shop for friends and family. They were also introduced to the luxe and holiday party-ready jewelry from Jenny Lauren Jewelry  Plus, beauty must-haves like Kora Organics and HEMPZ.

There were even some fun and festive interactive activations that included a guest appearance from Donni Davey from Half Magic Beauty (Euphoria’s make-up artist), plus customizable face peels by VI Peel. Perfume is also a #1 gift to give this year and we were able to get the scent on this stocking stuffer approved, independently owned fragrance house WHO IS ELIJAH. The female founded fragrance was established in 2018 and is hand-filled in Sydney, Australia. They’re cruelty free, genderLESS, and their scents are so luxurious to wear everyday. We loved the scent called Wall Street. It has notes of rose, raspberry, saffron and amberwood.

Yup, their fragrances are so yummy they even made our ultimate gift guide this year. Check it out!
