You don’t have to alienate yourself from friends to avoid the alcohol. And that goes for anyone out there who is pregnant as well! Mocktails are KEY. Thankfully Los Angeles caters to a lot of people, which includes those of us that may want to enjoy the nightlife scene while not feeling left out.

Here are the best LA Bars with Mocktails:

Idle Hour – North Hollywood

Although it looks like you’re walking into a giant wine barrel, Idle Hour’s signature alcoholic drinks have a lot of Tequila. But luckily they do offer a delightful non-alcoholic drink called the Virgin Presbyterian.

It has lemon juice, ginger syrup, pineapple and bitters and finished off with club soda. Perfect treat to satisfy that mixed drink craving!

It’s definitely one of the best LA bars with mocktails!

The Varnish – Downtown LA

Beer lovers, the best is yet to come for you! The Varnish in DTLA has non-alcoholic pineapple ginger beer. Which honestly sounds delicious for anyone and everyone to enjoy, regardless if you’re actually trying to skip out on the alcohol. Extra bonus is the non-alcoholic SHOTS they serve!

Yes you read that correctly, SHOTS. The “Facemelter” has lemon, fresh-pressed ginger syrup, pineapple, sea salt and cayenne. It’s even shown to make you feel better if you are sick. Just think, you and your friends can enjoy a few “beers” and even “shots” with no hangover the next morning!

Skybar at the Mondrian – West Hollywood

Not only will you have a gorgeous rooftop view, but the bartenders at the Skybar at the Mondrian will have no qualms about making you a virgin mojito! Made with soda water, natural sugar cane juice, fresh lime juice and mint, it goes well with any snack you pair with it.

It’s for sure one of the Best LA Bars with Mocktails!

New Orleans is calling your name at Sassafras Saloon. The secret isn’t really a secret, but they practically mix better mocktails than actual drinks! One of the virgin cocktails, actually contains 9 ingredients, mint, lemon juice, ginger syrup, housemade grenadine, pineapple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice and passion fruit puree, a splash of soda water and Sprite. All the best parts of any drink all to be enjoyed together!

Lono – Hollywood

Tiki-themed bars aren’t just Hawaiian shirts, and cute cups, they even serve mocktails. Lono is a tiki bar in Hollywood not yet run rampant with tourists yet and they make delicious virgin pina coladas!

They also make mocktails like Painkillers with pineapple, orange and coconut or the Missionary’s Downfall, a blend of mint, caramelized pineapple, peach, honey and lime. Trust, it’s as delicious as it sounds.

Magnolia House – Pasadena

Magnolia House in Pasadena might just have amazing margaritas and tacos but they also know how to make one killer mocktail! The options range from the Not-So American Dream which consists of strawberry, lemon, mint and seltzer to the Snappy Ginger which has lime, ginger, rosemary, blood orange and seltzer.

Nightshade – Arts District

Arts District is popular for its breweries, bars and now a mocktail you can get at Nightshade called, Summer Fight! The mix is pretty healthy considering it has carrot, tangerine, ancho-infused grenadine, citrus fruit and pineapple mousse. Then it’s garnished with citrus zest and chili threads. After tasting one of these, you may never go back to a regular drink!

MiddleBar – Inglewood

Bloody Mary’s are signature brunch cocktails and how would that be fair to not include the perfect Bloody Mary mocktail? Middlebar serves the self-titled Middlebar Mary which is alcohol-free and is so delectable that it’s bottled and sold at the restaurant so you can even take some home!
