I met Rachel at a blogger event, I really can’t remember which one because we’ve run into each countless times since then, mostly at fashion and beauty events. I love Rachel’s style and energy and wanted to feature her so that you can get to know her as well.

Where are you from and what brought you to Los Angeles?
I’m originally from Seattle. I was in need of a change of scenery and the weather in LA just can’t be beat! But really I moved here to attend graduate school for design at FIDM.
What’s your favorite thing about LA?
It’s hard to name just one but the weather, amazing events, restaurants and the opportunities that I have here are some of my favorite things about LA!
What about LA inspires you?
The weather plays a big part in my inspiration (yes, I know I’ve mentioned that about three times now lol) but also the creative vibe and entrepreneurial spirit that exists here is unlike anywhere else I have experienced. Most of my close friends work in creative industries, in fact, one of my friends Tanja Maduzia runs a couture paper studio where she does custom handmade invites for events and scrapbooking for clients. Plus there really is so much to do and see in LA from art exhibits (The Getty, Getty Villa, LACMA, The Broad etc) to the beach, mountains and culturally we are so diverse here.
Who is your favorite person in LA?
I have quite a few favorites! My friends really are my backbone and without them I would be lost! They are so amazing in so many different ways and it just wouldn’t be the same here without them.
Where is your favorite place to go in LA?
I love heading to the beach. Sometimes I just need to get away and get some fresh ocean air to clear my mind. Other than that give me a great rooftop vibe with a view (some of my favorites locally are The London and The Sixty) and I am good to go!
What is your favorite neighborhood in LA?
I love West Hollywood.
What has been your favorite LA experience?
LA is so surreal sometimes so a lot has happened in my six years of living here but one of my recent highlights was meeting Betsey Johnson at her Spring Bash!
