6 Yummy Overnight Oats Recipes to Get Every LA Girl Snacking Healthy

Let’s face it! We’re so busy in our lives that sometimes healthy snacking is impossible. We’re running around from work to workouts, date nights to late-night episode binging, that it can get too hectic! That’s why I love Quaker overnight oats – it’s the complete opposite of complicated. All you have to do is prep a few hours or the night before and you can have all the healthy snacks you can possibly want in a day. Here are my favorite, yummiest overnight oats recipes to get every LA Girl snacking healthy!

For the morning ritual

I always like to start the day with a healthy, nutritious breakfast. This includes getting a dose of whole grain and fresh fruit. I usually have this an hour or two before heading to yoga class.

1/2 cup nonfat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup blueberries
1/3 cup banana, sliced
1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)

Add Quaker Oats to your container of choice and pour in milk and vanilla. Add a layer of blueberries and then a layer of banana slices. Top with a drizzle of honey and, if desired, chia seeds. Place in fridge and enjoy in the morning or a few hours later!

For the after-workout snack

I usually get hungry right after a workout and I don’t want to stuff myself with anything that will completely cancel out everything I just did to my body. My favorite fruit is mango, so this is usually a reward for getting myself to class.

1/3 Cup(s) low-fat yogurt
1/8 Teaspoon(s) Almond extract
1/2 Cup(s) Mango, diced
1 Teaspoon(s) Honey
1 Teaspoon(s) Chia seeds

Add Quaker Oats to your container of choice and pour in milk and low-fat yogurt. Mix in almond extract. Add a layer of mango. Top off with a drizzle of honey and chia seeds. Place in fridge and enjoy in the morning or a few hours later!

For the afternoon craving

After working for most of the day, I find myself craving a snack around 2 or 3pm after I take my dog for a walk. I’m usually in the mood for something to get my energy up after sitting in front of the computer for several hours. I love Chai tea, so this is a no-brainer!
