Los Angeles is known to be a melting pot of cultures and people and this month just proves it further. Everyone celebrates that it’s not who you love that’s important it’s that we all love each other. Whether you’re partying in the street, going to a show, or attending the LA Pride Parade, it’s a fun filled month with lots of rainbows and lots of joy! Here are the best Pride events around Los Angeles.
LA Pride Salon Series at The Getty
June 7th
Join the Getty Center at 6:00 pm for the kickoff of Pride Weekend. Enjoy an hour-long conversation with three LA-based photographers Rick Castro, Amina Cruz, and Texas Isaiah, who create artwork to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. They’ll discuss their personal relationships and reflect on how their past has shaped their representation in their artwork. After the chat, you can enjoy the courtyard of the Getty Museum with light bites, a bar, and music by DJ Daisy O’Dell. Get your tickets before they’re sold out.
LA Pride in the Park
June 9th & 10th
Two stages, activities, plenty of food and of course: PRIDE! This year’s Pride in the Park is taking place at Los Angeles Historic Park on Friday and Saturday. Headliners include Mariah Carey and Megan Thee Stallion! Click here for tickets, details, hotel information, and ticket registration.
LGBTQ+ Night at Dodger Stadium
June 16th
LA Pride and the Los Angeles Dodgers bring you its 10th Annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night at Dodger Stadium. The special event package comes with a ticket to the game and an exclusive Dodgers LGBTQ+ themed jersey. The 10th Annual LGBT Night kicks off at 5 pm with a pre-game party at the Right Field Plaza bar until the first pitch at 7:10 pm. David Archuleta will be performing the national anthem and the LA Chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will be recieving the Community Award. Stay until the end of the game to watch some beautiful fireworks with a set from DJ Bowie Jane.
Pride is Universal – Universal Studios Hollywood
June 8th
Universal Studios Hollywood and LA Pride celebrate the LGBT+ communities and their allies with an unforgettable pride-filled experience in the park. A ticket to Pride is Universal, gets you into the park at 4 pm, or 2 pm if you purchase the VIP access, and gives you access to a private after-hours Pride celebration at 9 pm-2 pm! Two DJs will be playing music throughout the park with dancing, cash bars, retail stores, restaurants, and 14 characters being available.
LA Pride Parade
June 11th
This year’s 53rd annual LA Pride Parade will have even more fun and Pride than last year. If you can only make it to one event for LA Pride, this is THE one to pick! Don’t forget to arrive early to ensure a good viewing spot along Holywood Boulevard. You’ll be amongst thousands of Angelenos from the LGBTQ+ community, as well as straight allies, join in the spirit of unity and togetherness! There will be a Pride Village adjacent to the parade with free food, music, and activations.
Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles
June 10th
In honor of Pride, the Fairmont Century Plaza is hosting a two hour live outdoor concert from the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles. Experience the beautiful harmonies with a diverse range of songs celebrating diversity and love within the LGBTQ+ community. Get your tickets now.
WeHo Pride
June 2nd – 4th
The city of West Hollywood will be hosting a Pride Weekend in West Hollywood Park which will include several events. Friday Night LIGHTSOUT takes place on the 3rd and 4th and includes a free RSVP with Idina Menzel, Jessie Ware, Shangela, and Tinashe and more. The Dyke March will happen on June 3rd on Robertson Stage. Also on Robertson Stage, join the Women’s Freedom Festival from 12 pm – 6 pm. Lastly, the WeHo Pride Parade will be happening on June 4th along Santa Monica Blvd.
Venice Pride Block Party 2023
June 2nd
Venice Pride 2023 is back for the free party in the street and more fun. Festivities include DJ Victor Rodriguez, community booths, food trucks, queer market, and more! Celebrate Pride at the beach, it’s open to the public—and ALL ages! Gaywatch, a popular monthly queer dance party in Baja Cantina in Venice, will offer adults 21+ their own space within the festival.
Melrose Rooftop Theatre
Each Monday the Melrose Rooftop Theatre will be hosting its Pride Nights. Bring your friends, family, or partner for an amazing movie experience with a gorgeous view of WeHo.
