The Queen Mary – Dark Harbor
Not only is The Queen Mary said to be haunted, but you can explore the ship at night as you make your way through mazes and encounter monsters at every turn. Off the ship, you can enjoy more festivities on the docks. Price of admission varies based on the day that you go.

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride
Griffith Park’s Haunted Hayride features a long ride through the haunted woods of the Old Zoo. You will be faced with terrifying clowns, so stay away if you suffer from coulrophobia. After a terrifying ride, riders go on foot through the Corn Maze, which is sure to elicit lots of screams.

Paramount After Dark Tour: Tales From the Other Side
This one is for all the film geeks out there. Make sure to come with your walking shoes on because Paramount After Dark is a two and a half hour guided walking tour Paramount Studios. After a complimentary champagne toast, guests are guided to parts of the lot that are rarely seen. You will get to walk on sound stages, peek inside vintage film vaults, and rediscover film history.

West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval
Head to West Hollywood on October 31st and spend Halloween with up to 500,000 Angelenos. The annual Halloween street party is widely popular and high energy. There are costume contests as well as dancing and live DJ sets on different stages down Santa Monica Boulevard.

Rooftop Cinema Club Halloween Screenings
For those of you missing summer outdoor movie screenings, you can continue the fun doing the Halloween season with Rooftop Cinema Club’s horror movie screenings. The week leading up to Halloween, you can enjoy several horror films such as “Get Out,” “Scream” and “The Shining” and scream you way through the week.

Santa Monica Zombie Crawl
Zombies will take to the streets of Santa Monica, only this time for a much more worthy cause: beer. The Santa Monica Zombie Crawl is a pub crawl that will be celebrating its fifth year in Oct. 28. Not only do you have to dress like a zombie (if you don’t you might get chased by one), but you must also act like a zombie. As you walk, your arms must be extended and you are required drag a leg and moan and growl. With your purchased wristband, attendees are invited to the official after party where there will be a DJ, contests, and a late night happy hour.

The Haunted Shack
This haunted shack is located at a real house in Torrance and has been terrifying visitors since 1997. Each year, there is a 1500 sq ft maze in the driveway that changes based on theme. While it only takes about 3-4 minutes to walk through, they promise you will feel fear rushing through your body much longer than that. The haunted maze is completely free, so rush on over.
Halloween Ghost Train (Griffith Park)
Halloween Ghost Train is the perfect for those of you who can’t handle anything too scary. A more lighthearted alternative to the Haunted Hayride, Halloween Ghost Train is fun for the whole family. There will be lights, fog and spooky sounds to get into the Halloween spirit, so sit back, and enjoy the ride.

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights
With eight horrifying mazes, there are more scream-tastic experiences than ever. Each maze is based on either a Universal Studies TV show or movie. You might find yourself in the nightmarish “American Horror Story: Roanoke” then make your way to supernatural world of “Insidious: Beyond the Further.” No matter which worlds you end up exploring, it’s sure to be an exhilarating night.

Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest
This year’s Fright Fest features 13 scare zones filled with thick fog and monsters lurking around every corner. Proving to be the Halloween destination for dare devils, Magic Mountain is turning off the lights of its most terrifying rollercoasters, leaving riders to the fate of the darkness.

KCRW Masquerade Ball
KCRW’s annual dance party will take place on October 28 at the MacArthur in DTLA. Spanning multiple ballrooms, the party will host a long list of DJs and other musical guests. There will be performance artists, belly dancers and more. This is a Halloween event you won’t want to miss!
