This fantastic, three-day event celebrates the art, history, and diversity of Northeast Los Angeles and it honors the highly acclaimed journalist, Charles Lummis. There will be free shuttle service for the event and you can enjoy performances, Q&As, workshops and more.

 

Los Angeles Bread Festival: June 3 – June 4

It’s every carb-lover’s dream come true at the 3rd Annual Los Angeles Bread Festival. It’s definitely #CheatDay during these two days as tons of bread bakers will be setting up their own pop-ups at the Grand Central Market. In addition to tasting some delicious breads, there will also be great workshops like the “Feel the Churn Butter Aerobics” workshop, where you will get a hands-on experience at making your own butter. It’s the best carb-fest to indulge in!

 

Pedal on the Pier: June 4

A great day of exercising, good food and live music – what could get better than that?! Head on out to the Santa Monica Pier for a fun-filled day of spinning. The Pedal on the Pier event will be bringing 100 stationary bikes for people to enjoy a 5-hour spin-a-thon. Not only does the Pedal on the Pier event get your heart rate up with an awesome exercise, but it also has been raising a total of $850,000 each year for the Harold Robinson Foundation, which helps give less fortunate kids an enjoyable experience at camp. Plus, tons of celebrities will also be coming out to show their support at the event.

 

Los Angeles Design Festival: June 8 – June 11

CicLAvia: June 11

CicLAvia events are always a blast and a great way to get up and active. On June 11th, CicLAvia will be hosting its 21st event where the streets will be closed from Glendale to Atwater Village from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. During this time, participants can grab their bikes, skateboards, or anything with wheels and enjoy a great stroll down the Los Angeles streets. You can even walk, whatever mode of transportation you choose, except for cars, the CicLAvia event is bound to be a spectacular one!
