For Mother’s Day, you and your mom can head out on some of everyone’s favorite hikes including to the Hollywood Sign, the Wisdom Tree, or the hike to the Griffith Observatory.
Another year of inspiring the future, one imagination at a time! Today was the last #GriffithObservatory fifth-grade school program for the 2015-16 school year. During a school program visit to Griffith Observatory, students engage the same astronomy topics they are covering in school. This year, the program welcomed over 27,000 fifth-grade students, as well as nearly 3,000 of their teachers and chaperones! Our free school program is made possible by the generosity of Friends Of The Observatory, which has funded the program since 2008.
Enjoy Some Time at a Botanical Garden
One of the most relaxing and mesmerizing ways to celebrate Mother’s Day is by visiting a botanical garden. There are so many botanical gardens in LA that offer some of the most beautiful flowers, gardens, and waterfalls.
